Guided tour of Agios Panteleimonas Monastery

The United Nations Development Programme is pleased to invite you to celebrate the International Day of Monuments and Sites at Agios Panteleimonas Monastery in Myrtou/Camlibel on Saturday 16th April at 11am.

Agios Panteleimonas Monastery will open its doors to the public for the first time since the beginning the EU funded and UNDP implemented emergency measures and conservation works!

The designers of the conservation project as well as UNDP’s architects and engineers will be present to answer your questions and curiosities about the project, main conservation challenges and the history of the monastery. 

The tour will provide you with a lot of interesting information and will be a great way to celebrate together the International Day of Monuments and Sites! 

Participation is free but registration is required. To reserve a space, RSVP by sending an email to: registry.pff.cy@undp.org by 13 April 2016.

How to reach the Monastery:

A bus will be provided for transportation from Nicosia to the Monastery (limited seats available, first come, first served!). Departure time 10am, in front of UNDP-PFF office.

If coming with your own means of transportation we will meet you at 11am in front of the Monastery’s Main Entrance.

Please wear comfortable clothes & comfortable and closed shoes!
