Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage presents its new projects in Famagusta

The Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage, the European Commission and the United Nations Development Programme are pleased to invite you to an Informational Open Meeting on Thursday, July 14th, 2016 at 7 p.m. at St. Paul and Peters Church in the Walled City of Famagusta.

The event seeks to provide an opportunity for civil society networks, heritage lovers and experts to learn more about the upcoming EU funded and UNDP implemented projects of the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage in Famagusta, namely:

  • Martinengo Bastion
  • Venetian Walls between the Arsenal and Othello Tower
  • Ravelin – Land Gate
  • St. Mary Church of Armenians
  • St Mary of Carmel - Carmelite Church
  • St. Anne Church of Maronites, and
  • Mescit of Tabakhane/Tanner’s Mosque - Jacobite Church.

The presentation will include a session for Q & A.

This will be the first of a series of future initiatives aiming at involving Famagusta’s residents and civil society organizations in the implementation of the projects.
